I want to see, touch, feel some of the products before I purchase online. Will this be possible if we are working remotely?
Yes, we will find the resources whether that’s ordering you swatches (paint, wallpaper and textiles) or finding a showroom or retail store located near you so you can first hand experience an item. And, we agree, this is so important.
Since you won’t physically see my space, how will you know what will work in my space?
This is where we will need some effort on your side! We will ask you to share images and videos of your space. Along with dimensions, lots of dimensions. From the shape of your space; to the pieces of furniture you are keeping; to the size of your window trim. We have a measuring guide that we will share with you, if you have any issues!
What if I want to keep some of my existing furniture?
No problem at all! We ask that you send any images of your space along with the existing furniture you plan to keep. For most pieces you want to keep, we will ask for dimensions so we know how to fit it in the space.
Are you able to help with paint colors and wallpaper?
Absolutely! For all packages, we assist with sourcing all sorts of items including but not limited to: paint colors, wall treatments, window treatments, furnishing, cabinet hardware, plumbing fixtures, art, rugs, lighting, and styling accessories.
Do you offer 3D Design Boards?
Yes! These are an additional cost. Pricing varies depending on the scope of your project.
Do you handle all of the ordering?
This is a premium service we offer only for the packages - Journal and Novel. However, with Booklet, if a client would like to purchase an item that we sourced from one of our trade-only vendors, we will have to handle the ordering for those pieces and will be billed at our hourly rate of $125 in 15 minute increments.
What if I don’t like a piece when it arrives?
This certainly does happen from time to time! We will share with you the return policy for any items we include on your sourcing list. We strongly encourage to keep all tags and packaging until you are 100% certain you would like to return the piece.
How long does the process take?
Many factors determine the timeline of the project, from the complexity of the project, to how responsive the client is, to how quickly a piece of furniture can be delivered. Our goal is to keep things moving at a steady pace and accommodate any desired completion date you have in mind.
How many revisions am I given?
This will depend on the scope of your project and/or the package you purchase.
How do you charge your design fee?
We charge a flat fee based on the scope of your project.
Do you have a minimum design fee budget?
Yes, pricing for the Booklet package begins at $1,000. If you’re just looking for advice and/or guidance try Notepad! This is our 1-hour virtual consultation priced at $150.
Do you offer payment plan?
Yes! We ask for a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining 50% upon completion.
Do you have a minimum budget or project size that you work with?
We believe every design project is a different shape and size. We personally love to save and splurge when it makes sense so we will treat your project the same. We will discuss your budget in our initial conversation and will keep tabs along the way.
